Roberts & Schaefer - Project Controls Program Implementation

Allen & Associates was contracted by Roberts & Schaefer to assist with the development, implementation and training documentation of a Project Controls program to standardize the management of Roberts & Schaefer’s design/build EPC projects. Allen & Associates worked primarily with the R&S Project Management Vice President, Project Managers, Construction Managers, and Project Controls staff in the implementation of this program to the Chicago and Salt Lake City offices.
A Project Management guidelines handbook was created which outlined the control tools and supporting processes and procedures. The toolkit consisted of a standardized scheduling tool and process flow, Action Item List template, Production Forecasting template, Risk Matrix template, identification of Key Performance Indicators and creation of associated forms and tracking curve templates and the implementation of a lessons learned database.
